What a lovely article! I'm a fellow language lover who has the privilege of working (part-time) with a company that makes language learning software. My job is to basically learn the ins and outs of different languages and translate those features into a learnable format. I'm currently working on a Berber language from North Africa, an obscure Chinese dialect and an Aboriginal language from Australia.
