Thank you! Yes, it definitely helps. I'm currently working on a (never-ending, or so it seems lol) project to revive the Awabakal language of the Sydney-Newcastle area in New South Wales. One of our consultants speaks Warlpiri, a geographically-distant but related language and we were able to reconstruct some of the grammar and vocab from old missionary texts with his help.
